A report published by the IAPDC and Magistrates Association based on a survey to collect the views of a small, selected group of magistrates on sentencing powers and practice in relation to offenders with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and other needs. The report focuses on community sentences as an alternative to custody, where appropriate.
